Diabetes Recipes Free – Chicken


Chicken in all forms is a nutritious and healthy meal. Here is a great recipe of an all time chicken favourite for diabetes recipes free. ‘Barbecued Chicken’ – for serving 6 people, you require olive oil, barbecue sauce, one 300 g can tomato puree, ½ onion chopped, 3 tablespoons whole-grain mustard (French style), 3 tablespoons juice of fresh lemon, 2 tablespoons of sugar substitute, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce, hot sauce (optional) 1-2 tablespoons, ¼ teaspoon ground allspice, ¼ teaspoon ground ginger, 160 ml water, pepper powder (to taste) and 6 chicken breasts, with bone, but skin and fat removed. Prepare the grill for the barbecue. For the sauce, place a deep pan over fire and pour in the tomato puree, cover and simmer for 5 minutes over low flame. Next add lemon juice, mustard, sugar substitute, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ginger, allspice and water. Cook for 10 minutes, till sauce thickens. Now add pepper. This sauce can be frozen and used when needed. Coat the chicken breasts with oil and pepper. Place on grill, with bone side up. Keep turning. After 20-25 minutes, spread barbecue sauce on both sides and cook till done. Before serving, heat the sauce and coat on chicken. Serve hot.
